Drilling, Well Construction, and Well Decommissioning

Our qualified specialists use modern, self-propelled drilling rigs and dry auger drilling technology to build wells and boreholes, with or without casing. Drilling diameters range from 100 mm to 506 mm, with a maximum depth of 50 meters.

We take on the construction of:

  • Monitoring and production wells.

In addition, we carry out well decommissioning in compliance with the relevant Hungarian regulations, supported by the required water rights permitting process.

Storage Tank Services

Tank Cleaning

ELGOSCAR provides periodic inspection, maintenance, and repair of storage tanks for hazardous liquids, as well as the necessary cleaning during product changes. Safety and efficiency are our top priorities in every task we perform.

Tank Inspection

In accordance with the Hungarian Ministry for National Economy Decree No. 1/2016 (I.5.) and Government Decree No. 216/2019 (IX.5.), storage tanks for hazardous liquids must undergo regular inspection. In many cases, tanks need to be cleaned beforehand to prepare them for inspection. Our company and staff hold all required certifications for both cleaning and inspection. All inspections are carried out according to the Technical Manual for Tank Inspections, which has been fully integrated into our Quality Management System.

Tank Installation

Our company designs, approves, and installs both standard and custom tanks, including all related fittings, pipelines, and mechanical components.

Tank Decommissioning

Our company decommissions obsolete tanks and tank farms, removes contamination sources, and manages waste, including potential recycling.

Dewatering Services

We provide complete dewatering solutions for construction sites and open-water areas, including:

  • Lowering groundwater levels to create a dry work environment for deep construction projects,
  • Installation and operation of temporary and permanent dewatering systems,
  • Construction of large-diameter production wells using dry drilling technology,
  • Sump well dewatering for open-water applications (e.g., collection pits),
  • Operation and monitoring, which can be:
    • Manual: daily on-site checks performed by personnel,
    • Semi-automatic: periodic on-site checks supported by a data logging system,
    • Automatic: remote-controlled system (e.g., with SMS alarm functionality).

Our services also include:

  • Preparation of detailed design plans,
  • Numerical hydraulic modelling,
  • Water rights permit application and management,
  • Conducting and evaluating hydraulic tests,
